Description:
Cala sa Nau is situated at 2,2 nautical miles from Port de Portocolom, between Cala Brafi and Cala Mitjana.
This beautiful beach is the end of a sinuous s-shaped sea inlet, which is 350 metres long and is at the same time the mouth of a sweet water source into the sea.
It finishes on this small sandy area with white, fine-grained sand, surrounded by white, reddish and ochre cliffs with pine trees, bushes and others. Its length is 60 meters and its width is 70 meters.
Anchoring: The underwater conditions are excellent for anchoring boats, there is a sandy ground with seaweed and the depth ranges from three to five metres, so that it is possible to anchor near the coast.
The anchorage is open to winds of east and northeast but it is completely sheltered from other winds and the sea. The space is limited by the large number of boats in the summer months.
Once anchored, diving, snorkeling, doing a trip in dinghy or a little excursion are recomended activities.
