Description:

Cala d‘Egos, a virgin, isolated and calm inlet, is situated at 3,7 nautical miles from Port d’Andratx, between Punta de sa Dent and na Moragues, under the shadow of Penyal Vermell (300 metres high) and Coll des Vent.  

The beach is 80 meter long and 30 meter wide. It is the only area of the coastline of Andratx which has good conditions for bathing, diving and anchoring. You are recommended to reach this stony area on the sea way. These characteristics explain that the beach is not very crowded.   

Anchoring: The marine and underwater conditions for anchoring boats are excellent in this beach which is open to the winds from the south, southwest and west. There is a sandy ground with pebbles. It is posible to anchor between 3 and 8 meters.   Once anchored, it is advisable to investigate the surroundings with the auxiliary, swimming or snorkeling because of their caves and strange shapes of the rocks.
