Description:
Cala en Gossalba is situated at 5,8 nautical miles from Port de Pollença, between Cala Murta, les Butzes and Morro del Pont (excellent panoramic views), below Puig de ses Butzes (162 metres high).
This u-shaped beautiful virgin and wonderful sea inlet is quite small On the beach there are mostly pebbles and gravel, an orientation toward southeast-southwest, and there are two small coves which are surrounded by some high mountains and pine trees.
Anchoring: The marine and underwater conditions are good for anchoring boats as well as for all types of diving. Just be careful with the East and Southeast winds. The rocky ground is covered by seaweed. In the middle of the cove there is a depth of more than ten metres, which reduces in the proximity of the coast. The best area for diving is the one next to Morro des Pont, where you can dive along the rocky walls at different depths. On underwater excursions you might see different species, especially morays (eels).
