At 9.3 nautical miles from the anchorage of Formentor, we find deep blue waters and an untouched landscape around this huge small island. It leaves no one felling indifferent neither navigators nor mountaineers, with a height of 102 meters and perpendicular walls. We can approach it without dead line problems.

Anchoring: In good weather conditions it is a perfect place to anchor during day light. We advise to anchor behind the island, sheltered from the north, at depths of 6 to 15 meters.

We advise caution when we anchor, because the sea bottom is composed of seaweed, rocks and shallows near the coast, not near the small island. Once anchored, sail around the rocks with kayak or dinghy. That gives us direct contact with the marine nature of the Tramuntana mountain range.
